Al Muvedre is a red wine from Alicante prepared by the Telmo Rodríguez Wine Company. This wine is a varietal Monastrell.

The grapes come from vineyards located in the town of Monóvar in the province of Alicante. The soil in which the vines grow is sandy and loam.

The vines are old and are characterized by their concentration and complexity. The harvest, done by hand, is performed in late October.

Al Muvedre goes through a process of fermentation in stainless steel and concrete. This is done with the addition of yeasts.

The Telmo Rodriguez Wine Company produces wines using only native varieties of original areas. This, coupled with the objective of recovering forgotten vineyards, make this a successful company.
