Vinification and refinement The Campomaggio Estate is located in the wonderful region of Chianti, straddling the fascinating provinces of Florence and Siena. Years of ageing ennoble this Chianti Classico which is only produced in the best years and specially selected as Reserve. Aged for 24 months in oak casks. It completes its refinement in bottles for a minimum period of 3 months.
Wine description Colour: Ruby red colour tending to garnet with ageing. Bouquet: Cedar, sandalwood and a sweet dustiness on the nose. Taste: Cherry and toasted oak palate. The finish has fine-grained tannins and a lovely back-end bouquet.
Food pairings Game bird dinner, a roasted breast ballotine, roast chicken, or soft cheese.
