A few kilometres north of Orange in the heart of Provence, lies the small town of Sainte-Cécile-les-Vignes. This is where Mireille and Marc Besnardeau are living their dream. The 46 hectare property has been in the family since 1920, but it has only been since 1994 that Mireille and Marc have had full control.
Marc had previously been a sommelier in a top Parisian Restaurant and new full well that the only future was in raising the quality, while remaining true to the terroir.
From 1998 the wines have been made in a new state of the art winery, and they have continued to increase their holdings with land purchases in both Cairanne and Rasteau.
“An excellent source for value.”
