Michel Couvreur is legendary. But we can't call him that because he's still alive! His techniques may be rebutted, but his style is unwavering. This particular whisky is distilled in Scotland yet can not be called Scotch as it's aged for only 3 years in oloroso and muscatel casks, which is fancy, but not half the story. Michel never dilutes his whisky from it's original alcohol concentration (like so many do), yet it still maintains it's elegance. The Intravagan'za is something to be explored and enjoyed.
