"A new addition for the Feraud family since 2012, this 60 ha property is located just 4 kms south of the town of Chateauneuf-du-Pape to the west of the town of Sorgues. There are 41 ha of well established vines planted on land quite similar to that found in Chateauneuf-du-Pape with most of the vineyards being classified as Cotes du Rhone Villages (these are just 1-2 kms from the southern most border of Chateauneuf-du-Pape) and a smaller area as Cotes du Rhone as well as some vineyards without classification. As is found in Chateauneuf-du-Pape the predominant variety here is Grenache with smaller plantings of Syrah, Mourvedre and Cinsault and numerous other Rhone varieties. The vineyards are farmed in exactly the same way as for their Chateauneuf with strict pruning, green harvest to reduce yields and hand picking at harvest time and strict selection.
