A new vintage release of a label that has really started to take traction. Winemaker Theo Coles sources the fruit from Arden, Waitaki - a close planted vineyard on limestone. Bright and savoury when first opened, this changed overnight to a much more brooding, plum and pigeon breath, very typically Limestone Waitaki. Most of this is exported – both the US and Japan have become big followers, so stocks here are limited – snooze and you lose.
